{"id":822,"date":"2010-06-12T21:48:37","date_gmt":"2010-06-12T21:48:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ride4acure.com.au\/?page_id=822"},"modified":"2011-01-07T21:04:39","modified_gmt":"2011-01-07T21:04:39","slug":"hannah-rose-turn-burn-and-earn-ridetuff-barrel-racing-saddle-series-2010","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/ride4acure.com.au\/?page_id=822","title":{"rendered":"2010 &#8216;Hannah Rose&#8217; Turn, Burn and Earn, RideTuff Barrel Racing Saddle Series"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Comic Sans MS; font-size: small;\">In March this year Turn, Burn and Earn Barrel racing commenced a barrel racing series in memory of fellow barrel racer &amp; young friend, Hannah Rose Luxford. <\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Comic Sans MS; font-size: small;\">Turn, Burn and Earn series organisers, Teresa Jones and Lisa Cannell remember\u00a0Hannah and her handy yellow mare &#8216;Lena&#8217;.\u00a0 \u201cThey were really starting to become competitive in our barrel racing group.\u00a0\u00a0Hannah was a lovely and brave\u00a0young girl who we all miss, and felt that this was the best way we can honour her memory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Comic Sans MS; font-size: small;\">The series is currently running, with 9 Rounds of 3D Barrel Racing for Novice<strong> <\/strong>horses and 2 Junior Age Divisions. Ride Tuff Buckles will be awarded to each Divisional Winner with a Ride Tuff Trophy Barrel Racing Saddle awarded to the winner of the 1st Division. <\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Comic Sans MS; font-size: small;\">Already, around 100 horses have competed in Rounds run at Bacchus Marsh, Anna &amp; Garry McPhee\u2019s Arena in Lurg, and Chiltern Rodeo Grounds.\u00a0 Competition has been fierce and with only three rounds to go the race is on for the buckles and the saddle. The series will finish on July 4<sup>th<\/sup> at Bacchus Marsh Recreation Reserve. A presentation day will follow with a date yet to be confirmed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Comic Sans MS; font-size: small;\">In addition to the barrel racing series Turn Burn and Earn have been selling \u2018Hannah Rose\u201d Saddle Series t-shirts.
