{"id":1320,"date":"2011-06-23T07:41:36","date_gmt":"2011-06-22T21:41:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ride4acure.com.au\/?p=1320"},"modified":"2011-06-23T07:41:36","modified_gmt":"2011-06-22T21:41:36","slug":"day-53-june-23rd-poochera-to-wirrulla-sa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/ride4acure.com.au\/?p=1320","title":{"rendered":"Day 53: June 23rd Poochera to Wirrulla SA."},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_1321\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1321\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1321\" title=\"photo (25)\" src=\"http:\/\/ride4acure.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/photo-25-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1321\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Esther: 51 days on the road and still smiling!<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The days keep progressing 53 now since we left Crescent Head on 2nd May, and here we are now only two days ride from Ceduna SA and only 13 days from SA\/WA border. \u00a0Last night were hosted at Poochera Hotel and Caravan park and had a good night meeting up with some locals, having a delicious counter meal and and ripper hot shower! \u00a0 Joe gave the schnitzels &#8217;10 out of 10 on his Schnitzel meter!&#8217; \u00a0Only have a 46km day today so &#8216;troops&#8217; still enjoying some shut eye at 6.45 but will be up by 7am. \u00a0It&#8217;s still pitch dark here, and raining gently. Esther may have something to say about that! The days keep melding one to the other, but the people we meet are what defines this journey. \u00a0We have &#8216;turned the page&#8217; on our itinerary and have definately entered the second stage of this trek. \u00a0After we leave Ceduna we have 30 days to Kalgoorli crossing the Nullabor. &#8230; we&#8217;re as ready as we&#8217;ll be, horses fighting fit.
